What can I wear with an ostomy?

The answer to “What can I wear with an ostomy” is easy...whatever you feel comfortable in!  Take into consideration where your stoma is located: 

1. At your waistline.  You don’t want something pressing on your stoma so consider using a stoma guard or wearing low rise skirts/pants. 
2. Above your waistline:  Since your waistband will lie across your stoma be careful not to restrict the output – wear loose elastic or fabric that stretches.  Low rise skirts/pants will work too as well as a stoma guard.
